A message from Fran:
I was drawn to yoga later than some, but just in time. Over the last five years, yoga has become an extremely important part of my life. Both physically and mentally, yoga has made an amazing impact on my life. Regular practice contributes to my mental well-being, and not only quiets my mind, but makes me a happier person. My mat is truly my happy place, and makes the regular stress of everyday life seem much more manageable. Physically, yoga has increased my strength and flexibility, while allowing myself to become more mindful and connected to my own being. I look forward to not only teaching, but learning from each and every student I meet. Namaste!
A message from Jayne:
I moved to Canada 13 years ago and found my passion-YOGA! I have been a practitioner for almost 20 years and a teacher for 9 years. I received my 200 hour yoga teacher training right here in Windsor and have continued my growth as a teacher and practitioner.
I am business co-ordinator at Coral Medical Spa and am currently participating in a year long course in Radical Well-being that helps students get grounded, self-regulate, and move through trauma. In the next few months, I'll be offering Introduction to Yoga courses and personalized yoga classes online for students who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, stress or similar emotional states.
I am a proud member of the Red Shoe Society and recently took on a committee role to help keep families close.
A message from Jan:
I am a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer, life coach and Joga coach. It is truly an honor and privilege to be able to teach and share with so many wonderful people how to live a healthy and happy lifestyle.
Yoga has truly become a part of my lifestyle for the past 5 years. It’s taught me something new every day. I’ve learned the true importance of balancing my life between family, friends, work and my own alone time. It is truly a treasure everyone should experience. It is for every body and every person, you just need to open your mind to it, enjoy life and let go.
Joga just recently came into my life and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to bring it to others. I took my coach certification in October of 2018 and I am hoping to help Athletes and non-athletes alike learn the importance of Mobility/stability/balance/strength and relaxation.
I truly feel if everyone had a little bit of yoga in their life our world would be a much better place.
A message from Kelly, Studio Owner and Primary Teacher:
I am a certified yoga teacher, college professor, wellness educator and Ph.D student with a passion for living well and inspiring others to embrace life and ignite their inner light.
Yoga has helped me balance the demands of a fantastically full life. It provides me with the space to come back to my breath and connect with what is really important to me. I believe wholeheartedly in living the practice!
I completed my first yoga teacher training in 2010 and have since participated in hundreds of hours of training through conferences, workshops and weekend intensives. I love to teach flowing vinyasa classes, playful partner classes, and slow and stretchy gentle classes.
I’ve been fortunate to lead students in day, weekend and week long retreats locally and abroad. I’m grateful to this practice and the community we’ve created at Bright Yoga.

A message from Charmaine:
As a dancer of 15+ years, I began practicing Yoga in 2010 looking to get back into shape after college. Yoga, became so much more than just a physical workout. Through my practice I began to notice a huge shift in my mental health, as most of my life I had been battling anxiety and severe depression. I felt clearer, more grounded, and an overall sense of calmness & stability.
Like so many, life then 'got in the way’. My yoga practice was put to the side, as did the benefits I was feeling in my mind, body and overall wellbeing. Through a number of life's experiences, I found myself dealing with the same patterns of anxiety and depression, this time, having moved 3 hrs from home, feeling like I had no support to lean on.
In 2016 I decided to dive right back into Yoga enrolling in a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher course. I truly feel it was the best decision I’ve ever made, and absolutely LOVE spreading the joy Yoga has brought to my life ❤
A message from Tricia:
I started practicing yoga over 13 years with one of my closest friends. Our children were still infants at the time and we used yoga as an excuse to break free from the house and enjoy a little time for ourselves. I never imagined at the time how much I would enjoy it, stick with it, benefit from it and come to need it in my life!
Like most of us, my life is very busy and monopolized by working several jobs and running from one sporting event to another (which I love btw) so I always felt I needed yoga more than I could teach it. After a many years practicing at Bright, another dear friend suggested I tackle the teaching aspect to further enhance my practice, learn even more about yoga and ultimately be able to help people of all ages introduce yoga into their lives.
I am thrilled and excited to be a Certified Yoga Teacher and am so fortunate to be part of the Bright Yoga family...thank you Kelly for your guidance, friendship and this opportunity 🙏
