A message from Kelly, Studio Owner and Primary Teacher:
I am a certified yoga and meditation teacher, college professor, wellness educator, with a Ph.D. in Health Education and Promotion, and author of the Daily Reflection and Wellness Journal. I have a passion for living well and inspiring others to embrace life and ignite their inner light.

Yoga has helped me balance the demands of a fantastically full life. It provides me with the space to come back to my breath and connect with what is really important to me. I believe wholeheartedly in living the practice!

I completed my first yoga teacher training in 2010 and have since participated in hundreds of hours of training through conferences, workshops and weekend intensives. I love to teach flowing vinyasa classes, playful partner classes, and slow and stretchy gentle classes.

I’ve been fortunate to lead students in day, weekend, and week long retreats locally and abroad. I’m grateful to this practice and the community we’ve created at Bright Yoga.

You can find me on Instragram @wayofbrightness and check out my wellness work at livebrightconsulting.com

A message from Tricia:
I started practicing yoga over 13 years ago with one of my closest friends. Our children were still infants at the time and we used yoga as an excuse to break free from the house and enjoy a little time for ourselves. I never imagined at the time how much I would enjoy it, stick with it, benefit from it and come to need it in my life!

Like most of us, my life is very busy and monopolized by working several jobs and running from one sporting event to another (which I love btw) so I always felt I needed yoga more than I could teach it. After a many years practicing at Bright, another dear friend suggested I tackle the teaching aspect to further enhance my practice, learn even more about yoga and ultimately be able to help people of all ages introduce yoga into their lives.

I am thrilled and excited to be a Certified Yoga Teacher and am so fortunate to be part of the Live Bright Yoga family...thank you Kelly for your guidance, friendship and this opportunity 🙏

A message from Sarah:
Hi everyone! Yoga found me in university, when I was looking for something that provided the sense of calm and perspective I had previously found walking the fields on the farm where I grew up. It has since helped me navigate many life transitions, and it was during one such transition that I completed my initial yoga teacher training.

I love how yoga invites us to discover ourselves as individuals while surrounded by a sense of community. I facilitate classes that focus on connecting breath and body through mindful movement, and heart and mind through loving kindness.

As a reflexology therapist, I'm also very interested in the role our nervous system plays in our well-being and the different ways we can help our hearts and minds through our nervous system. This led me to pursue yoga Nidra training, and I now offer yoga Nidra nights in addition to gentle flow and Yin classes.

A message from Charmaine:
I am mindful yoga teacher looking to spread the joy that yoga has brought to my life! Growing up, I found myself dealing with the effects of anxiety and depression, and at the time, there wasn't a lot of support. In adulthood, these untreated symptoms led to severe mental health struggles.

Yoga has been an essential part of my journey and I now use these incredible tools to teach others that they are not alone in their adversities.

A message from Dixie Mae:
I'm a happy-go-lucky pup that loves to make people smile. If you come to one of Kelly's classes, I'll probably be there to greet you, and then I'll have a little nap while you practice. I love being a part of the studio community!
